Our Trip Around the World – Seven Month Update

Slovenia

Fairytale castle in Slovenia.

Hello from Slovenia! It’s been three months since our last trip update post; how fast time passes. Over the past three months we’ve visited ten countries in three different continents. We spent about two and a half weeks in Australia, one in Thailand, ten days in Cambodia, another two weeks in Vietnam, and then hit five different cities in one hectic week in mid-April. This week marked the end of six wonderful months in Southeast Asia. We’ve now been in Europe for about three weeks, with another three to go before we finally head back home in early June.

So where have we been? Here is an attempt to capture our entire trip:

Our Trip Around the World, Seven Months In

Reviewing where we’ve been, we noticed that our total trip has been a series of smaller trips that returned to where they began. For example, we arrived in Asia from the Middle East, and at the end of our time in Asia, we went back to the Middle East. We actually ended up passing through Bangkok four separate times, always staying at least one night! I especially like the map of our crazy time around Southeast Asia, so here it is below.
